ABOUT CESAR GALINDO
Galindo began his fashion journey designing corsets and period costumes for The Miami City Ballet and The Houston Grand Opera.
As a young man, he moved to New York in the late 1980s to continue working as a designer and later began developing his fashion line.
He faced many challenges at the beginning of his career but managed to have a breakthrough when he captured the heart of the fashion industry when his kimono dress design appeared on the cover of Elle Magazine in 1993.
He has also worked as a contract designer for many internationally known labels, acting as an innovative leader and defining the DNA of brands, including Dolce and Gabbana, Calvin Klein, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, and Kimora Lee Simmons Collection. The new launch of Baby Phat, three gowns for Diane Von Furstenberg for this year's MET GALA.
A master draper and pattern maker, his homonymous brand Cesar Galindo made waves everywhere and continues to have a solid international presence.
As a stylist, he has created countless red-carpet outfits for many world-renowned celebrities, including Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Courteney Cox, and Missy Elliott.
